Decision Tables in Agile and Connection to User Stories Copy

So, where do Decision Tables fit into Agile?

Well, they work great with user stories!  Yes, that’s right!

Create a large version of the Decision Table and hang it on the team’s wall. Then map which user story correlates to which row!  You may have a user story that covers all rows, or perhaps just one. Using a Decision Table and mapping user stories to it is a great way to split a large story into smaller pieces.

Besides hanging them in the team’s workspace, you can also attach them to the user story in a tool.  Decision Tables can be referenced in the acceptance criteria for the user story and used for context as often many stories reference one or many decision tables.
